We just tinkered with the net as you instructed and it is working great. The goal is a big step up from our old 6x12 (Franklin??) we bought the kids when they were young - and which was put out of its misery by a fallen tree branch! My children love it and they are more excited to practice on their own when shooting on a fullsize goal is part of their time. It is a strong goal and the quality is excellent but it wasn't as expensive as other brands and so it made it possible for us to purchase it for our home. Now we need a bigger yard.
